Probably the most successful person in our line of decent. A very good farmer, he invested the money he made in property. His marriage to Maria produced 18 children , there may have been as many as 22! At today's valuations he would have been a multi-millionare when he died in 1853.
Thomas married Maria Hardy in 1808 in Scoulton. (Maria Hardy was born in 1785 in Scoulton, died in 1856 in Scoulton and was buried in Scoulton.)
