General Notes:
Flowing the death of his twin brother Thomas, Allen styled himself as "Thomas Allen" a walking memorial to his dead brother and the same name as his father. This change of name caused many problems in the early days of research into the family.
Allen married Mary Ann Norman in 1832 in Cressingham. (Mary Ann Norman was born in 1805 in Heigham and died in 1889 in Heigham.)
